Ever since Brandon Marshall spoke to the media about his conditioning, being rushed physically, and not knowing his role in Marc Trestman's offense, Marshall has been the topic of conversation among our media. The media needs to relax. If anything, they're making this more of a story than it should be. I only hope that Marshall ignores what the media has written and said. The media will make this story get out of hand and this could be storyline that continues throughout the season.
We all know that Marshall is going to put up numbers and he'll be Jay Cutler's number one target. He may not put up 2012 numbers, not because he won't be healthy or out of shape or because he wont know his role in the offense... It'll be because the offense has gotten better.
The Bears are ready to take over the North and don't need a distraction that will disrupt the dynamic of the locker room. The media is making Marshall's comments into something when its really nothing. I guess with the fourth and final preseason game, there's really not much to talk about.
