Admittedly, it's been almost a couple months since I've posted anything. For one, I've been busy at work and at life and I honestly haven't had much to say anything about the Bears.I had a "why the Bears are the best team in the NFL post" scheduled but then they lost to the Texans. I was then going to save it for after the 49ers game but for obvious reasons, I had to scratch it.
Last week, I had a "why Lovie shouldn't get fired" post but had to scratch that. So here we are. The Bears are the seventh place and outside of the playoff picture. Despite the loss against their rivals, the Bears still have a shot at the playoffs. Right now, the Bears share the same record with the Redskins (4), Vikings (6), Cowboys (8) and Giants (9). Here are the remaining games for each 8-6 team:
Redskins: at PHI, DAL
Vikings: at HOU, GB
Bears: at ARI, at DET
Cowboys: NO, at WAS
Giants: at BAL, PHI
The Bears have the easiest schedule out of the teams fighting for the last playoff spot. It might be good thing that the Bears don't have to play any of their last two games at home in front of the 4th Phase.
If the Bears can win their final two games, who knows, maybe they can be hot going into the playoffs.
