#4thPhase recap: Bears lose to Broncos in a meaningless game

shea mcclellin
Bears fans wanted their football and they finally got it. After 8 months since the last game and an offseason filled with excitement and anticipation, the beloved get trounced 31-3 to the Broncos in front of the 4th Phase. Before jumping off the ledge, remember, it's preseason. This game doesn't matter. It doesn't count.

1st Phase
The offense played without Jay Cutler and Matt Forte. Boring. But don't blame the coaches for to make them sit. Alshon Jeffery looks like he could play in the league. He will have to learn how to beat the jam and he can learn from one of the best in Brandon Marshall.

2nd Phase
Brian Urlacher wasn't even in the building as he was excused from the game for personal reasons. I know people are concerned but in all honesty, he's earned the right to do whatever he wants. Julius Peppers sat out. Boring... again. Without Peppers, the Rush Men failed to get consistent pressure but I wouldn't worry. Shea McClellin looked like he has the speed to compete at this level. He will probably be used in passing situations and is someone to keep an eye on.

3rd Phase
Devin Hester field a punt return. Nothing happened. Nothing to talk about here.

MattOfCourse: IF that is the #Bears performance on September 9, THEN i will freak out. People need to calm down. (IMHO) #BearDown #4thPhase

DBarraia: Back home we need to improve on 2nd and 3rd string lets do better next week #beardown#4thphase
