Bears GM Emery on WR Ashlon Jeffery: Dynamic Athlete, Playmaker

Probably the most intriguing draft pick the Bears made this year is their third round pick (150th overall), wide receiver, from South Carolina, Ashlon Jeffery. Here's why Bears general manager Phil Emery traded to to pick him.

Jeffery played in the SEC, the best conference in college football, against NFL-caliber players. There is no doubt that he will be able to make the transition to the pro game if he dedicates himself.

The 6-3, 216 pound, wide receiver will compete for position in the depth chart. Teamed up with Brandon Marshall, 6-4, 230 pounds, Jay Cutler will have two big targets to throw to.
