If you ask anyone, most think the Bears will take Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd (if he's available) with the number 19 pick in this year's draft. Since Notre Dame is in the Chicago market and on national television, everyone has seen him play.
Floyd has everything the Bears need at wide receiver - physical, big and fast. Like Floyd, Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill comes in the same mold only a little bigger at 6-4, faster with an official 4.36 in the 40 yard dash and I will argue that he's more physical.
On paper, Hill doesn't look like he was that productive but keep in mind that Hill played in a triple option offense at Georgia Tech. Blocking is already in Hill's blood. Toughness and wanting to mix it up with a defender is already part of who he is.
In talking with Steve Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times, Hill says the all the right things and he seems like he understands what it will take to be successful in the NFL. Floyd, on the other hand, as talented as he is, has had off-the-issues at Notre Dame and living around the nightlife in Chicago could easily be a distraction.
If the Bears don't land one of the top wide receiver free agents and if both Floyd and Hill are both available, who would you pick?
