#4thPhase Tweets: Bears three phases beat the Panthers

It wasn't a pretty win but a win is a win. While there were a lot of things that went well, there were also a lot to be concerned about.

1st Phase
Against the Panthers, Matt Forte rushed for 205 yards, a career high and second best in team history. While Forte was running on all cylinders, Jay Cutler was only 9-17 for 109 yards. The offensive line showed they can get in front of defenders and block as they paved they way for Forte's huge day and only allowing one sack.

2nd Phase
For the third straight game, the defense struggled to keep offenses out of the end zone. The Panthers ran 72 plays and racked up 543 yards. While they did force Cam Newton into an interception that was returned for a touchdown by DJ Moore, Newton was not roughed up and was not sacked.

3rd Phase
"Devin Hester... You are ridiculous." Hester broke Eric Metcalf's record for most runt return touchdowns. Hester also returned a kickoff for 73 yards that set up a 17 yard touchdown run by Forte. While Julius Peppers didn't record a sack he did block a field goal.

4th Phase
@DrewMMitchell Great day for @D_Hest23 & @MattForte22, but that defense is SUSPECT. There are lots of holes on this team. #BearDown #DaBears #4thPhase

@Chibexar #4thPhase #Bears Offense runs the ball well kicks fieldgoal - Defense scores a pick six #goodolebearsfootball

@Mr_Bojudo forte average high, only 1 sack, lance louis looked better than expected at tackle...special team A+...clock managment wasnt great

@Workhard44ss #Bears have to commit to the run and give @MattForte22 whatever contract he wants! #paytheman #Beardown
