DT Okoye On Bears Radar?

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times suggests the Bears could make a play for Texans DT Amobi Okoye if he's waived by the team.

Texans defensive coordinator, Wad Phillips, runs the 3-4 and Okoye is not a good fit for the scheme. He would be an excellent fit in the Bears Cover 2.

Okoye was a 10th overall pick in the 2007 draft out of Louisville and is only 24 years old. He has yet to reach his prime and if Bears' DL coach Rod Marinelli can get a hold of him, Okoye can be developed into his prime.

Stay tuned 4th Phase.
