Bears Looking to Trade Olsen

Bears Looking to Trade Olsen

Bears fans are upset, as the always are. They're upset that management has yet to pull the trigger during this shortened free agency period.

Well here's some news for you... Greg Olsen is on the trading block. As reported by Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Olsen's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, sent a mass email to general managers and player personnel around the league.

Rosenhaus wrote:

"The Bears have granted me permission to seek a trade for Greg Olsen...

"Please let me know if interested. Sounds like the Bears will be very reasonable on the compensation in return for Greg."

Eleven minutes later, Rosenhaus sent another mass (one-sentenced) email and said:

"Please disregard my previous email regarding Greg Olsen."

A source says the Bears requested Rosenhaus withdraw the offer because they were probably flooded with offers.

The real story is what teams are interested and what will the Bears get in return if this trade goes through.

Stay tuned...
