Lance Briggs Not A Top 10 LB

Lance Briggs.jpg
The Worldwide Leader ranked their top 10 linebackers and Lance Briggs was not one of them. Brian Urlacher finished 6th.

Just like Trent Dilfer about Jay Cutler, ESPN has got this all wrong. Briggs has been to six consecutive Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro as recently as 2009. Sure he doesn't recorded huge sack numbers but what about everything else? He's always in position, a sure tackle, forces fumbles and has the knack to come up with the big play. Briggs has arguably been the best linebacker in the NFC North if not on the Bears the past couple seasons.

The Chicago Bears need all four phases (offense, defense, special teams and the fans) of the game to work together to pave the way to victory. This is the unofficial 4th Phase blog. You can follow the blog on Twitter, @4thPhase or #4thPhase.
