Tommie Harris stays classy by thanking fans

Tommie Harris was cut the other day by the Bears. He was drafted out of Oklahoma to be the anchor of Lovie Smith's Cover 2 defense. Early in his career he was as dominant as billed. He was arguably the best defensive tackle in the NFL.

Injuries slowed him down and he never seemed to the be the same player. Harris was often criticized by fans and media and in return he was at times defensive and unaccommodating. To his credit, he was probable frustrated with his injuries and play as we were watching.

Today, Tommie Harris placed in ad in the Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times to thank fans.
