Vegas odds on the Bears making it to the Super Bowl

According to Vegas, the Bears have the second best shot in the NFC to make the Super Bowl.

According to betting guide website pregame.com, those placing bets on the season's final outcome have given New England a 35% chance of winning it all. That's nearly equal to the odds for the next three contenders--the Atlanta Falcons (14%), Pittsburgh Steelers (12%) and Chicago Bears (11%)--combined.

Super Bears, Super Bowl!
If the Bears knock off the Seahawks, which the will, they'll either get the Packers in front of the 4th Phase or go to Atlanta to play the Falcons.

A Bears-Packers match up for the George Stanley Halas Trophy is something every football fan wants. How awesome would that be! On a sloppy turf, in front of a home crowd, I like our chances!

In a dome against the Falcons, I still think the Bears match up well against the Dirty Birds. Since the game will be played on carpet, it makes the Bears an even faster team. We all know the Bears can stop the run and that's the Falcons' bread and better. Last season, the Bears, without Brian Urlacher and Julius Peppers, barely lost to them at Atlanta.

Start planning your trip to Dallas.

The Chicago Bears need all four phases (offense, defense, special teams and the fans) of the game to work together to pave the way to victory. This is the unofficial 4th Phase blog. You can follow the blog on Twitter, @4thPhase or #4thPhase.
