Bears in a good position to make the playoffs

Nobody is happy with how the Bears are playing as of late but I still have faith that the beloved can hang on to win the NFC North, make a run in the playoffs and possibly win the Super Bowl. Yeah I said it.

If you look at the records around the league, there are no dominant teams, especially in the NFC. The Packers are banged up, the Vikings have issues and the Lions, are the Lions.
Believe it or not, the Bears are in a good position to hang on to the
North. Who knows, they might get hot. Beating the Bills, Vikings (twice), Dolphins, Eagles, Lions and the Packers again are not out of the question. Both the Jets and the Patriots games are in front of the 4th Phase. I can't imagine the Bears being a .500 home team.

This bye week gives the Bears an opportunity to take a step and make a
few adjustments. For those clamoring for personnel changes should give
it up, at least for now. Nothing is going to happen in the middle of the
season, so save it for the offseason when everything is all said and done.

The best thing the Bears can do is right the ship now, develop players
and get past the growing pains. The Bears have a good mix of elite veterans that know how to win and a young core that can make plays.

This past offseason, the Bears hired two of the best coaches in the
league, Mike Martz and Mike Tice. Both Martz and Tice knew what they
were getting themselves into. With a young core of skilled players and
an unproven offensive line, they both said there would be growing pains...
and there have been. They both said that it would be around mid-season by
the time everyone gets it. We are at that point.

The Chicago Bears need all four phases (offense, defense, special teams and the fans) of the game to work together to pave the way to victory. This is the unofficial 4th Phase blog. You can follow the blog on Twitter, @4thPhase or #4thPhase.
