You know it's football season when you turn on your radio and hear Doug Buffone on 670 The Score. Buffone always has good insight and always has strong opinions about the current Bears and their players. In my opinion, sometimes he comes off like an angry old man that's bitter because of his team's lack of success, back-in-the-day, and his lack of a fat wallet compared to the modern day player. Regardless of my opinion he is well respected and I appreciate his candor.
Earlier today, Bears Beat Reporter and Buffone debate on how long Cutler should have played.
From 670 The Score:
Zaidman was in San Diego for the Bear's game on Saturday and he gives
Mac and Doug Buffone his take on the game during the last hour. Buffone
and Zaidman get into a heated debate about how long Cutler should have
played on Saturday. Did the Chargers have an extra "chip" on their
should during the game? What is wrong with Caleb Hanie? Will he be put
on IR, and why are we even talking about the back-up quarterback?
Buffone thinks that the Bear's Camp should mirror more of Mike Tomlin's
at Pittsburgh. Zaidman talks about a lot about the talent level on the
Bears. To hear the rest of this interview click below to listen.
