Bears (unofficial) home opener tonight!

The Bears play their first home game tonight against the Oakland Raiders. Preseason games are hard to watch because you don't get the full experience - the intensity of the game and the roar of the crowd. Besides, it's still warm and not Bear weather.

Regardless, hungry Bears fans, like me, want to see the new look Monsters of the Midway. We want to see them play at home. We want to yell "Let's Go Bears!" We want to sing (or hum or half sing) Bear Down after we score.

If you're on Twitter and tweeting during the game, use the #4thPhase hashtag. I'll use the most interesting and insightful tweets in my next blog post.

The Chicago Bears need all four phases (offense, defense, special teams and the fans) of the game to work together to pave the way to victory. This is the unofficial 4th Phase blog. You can follow the blog on Twitter, @4thPhase or #4thPhase.
