Caleb Hanie makes Martz nervous

Chicago Bears vs St. Louis Rams
Relax, Mike Martz. The other day you said the receivers can be the strength of the team and we can etch that in granite. Consider it done. The media and bloggers have etched that on granite for you...on the web.
Now you say that Caleb Hanie makes you nervous because you don't really know what he could do. The 4th Phase doesn't know what he could do either but he can't be any worse than Craig Krenzel or Jonathan Quinn right? Beside aren't you the offensive guru that will turn this offense around and coach up our quarterbacks and make Jay Cutler a Hall of Famer?

Regardless, I'm not thoroughly impressed with Josh McCown, plus his name rhymes with Cade McNown. What about Marc Bulger? Signing him would remind me of signing Orlando Pace, who was way past his prime or even Adam Archuleta, who started the whole safety shuffle. No ex-Rams please.

The Chicago Bears need all four phases (offense, defense, special teams and the fans) of the game to work together to pave the way to victory. This is the unofficial 4th Phase blog. You can follow the blog on Twitter, @4thPhase or #4thPhase.
