"D" Comes Up Big In 2nd Road Win!

3 QB sacks, and 3 takeaways equal another sweet victory for the Bears in NJ last night.  Ryan Mundy’s game opening pic 6 got things off to a great start.  Thereafter the defense bent, but refuse to break.  Each time the Jets got into the red-zone, the defense hunkered down by either giving up just... 2012 Round 1 Draft Pick

I’m predicting, ( based on The Bears free agency moves), that the Bears 1st round pick will be, Ohio State LT Mike Adams.

Rex Grossman Still Sucks....

With a 300 plus yard passing game, and a victory over an ever increasingly dysfunctional NY Giants team in week one, Redskin QB (ex-Bear) Rex Grossman has become the latest media-darling.  In the season opener, Grossman was 21-34 for 305 yards, 2 TDPs, no pics and a QB rating of 110.5.   However, Grossman was far from... Bears QB's Get Sacked The Most In Pre-Season Opener......

A 10-3 win with not much offense is not what I hoped to see in the pre-season opener. As usual, the defense came to play, but our offensive line was the worst in all games played this past week. We’ll have more to share after reviewing the re-broadcast tonight.

Just read a Tribune article from Vaughn McClure that toted Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker as an ideal fit for the Bears (see article). My position remains the same, Floyd is better. Sims-Walker is only 6’2″ 212lbs, with inferior stats to Floyd (2010 – 43 catches for 562yrds 7TDs, and a 13.1 yards per catch average).... Read more »

We Could Be Close To A Deal.....

Goodell and Smith Shake Reports have indicated that the NFL and the Players Union have been meeting at the table in an attempt to hammer out a deal in several “private” sessions.  It would seem that Jeff Pash’s statement regarding the need to work things out without the intervention of the courts, can be taken... Now Coaches, And Players Want To Get Back To Work.....

Goodell, Pash and Others This should come as now surprise to anyone. The picture posted above, get a “good” look at it.  If this thing continues to go south, then those are the men we have to blame, along with a few selfish owners. In fairness however, I must say that I was greatly surprised... Read more »
