Cheese-Heads Deserve Some Credit

No folks, I haven't lost my mind, I just believe in giving credit where it's due.  Even though I will (always) hate the Packers for life, you must admit that despite every possible obstacle known to man, the Pack won their 3rd SB championship last season.  What sticks-out in my mind the most is the fact that the Pack went into the post-season with some 15 plus players on IR.  The Pack even lost 2 key players during the Super Bowl, and still beat a formidable and hungry Pittsburgh Steelers team.

Green Bay's success begins in the front office with GM Ted Thompson.  Thompson will probably be recognized as one of the games best GMs with his ability to find exceptional talent that other teams passed up.  The Packers team depth was put to the test in 2010, and the result was a championship.  Then there's Head Coach Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff.  What I find even more amazing is that McCarthy calls all the offensive plays (which usually leads to burn-out for any HC).  The Packers not only won three consecutive road games to get to SB XLV, but they beat at least 2 teams that were favored to win those respective games (Atlanta & Philadelphia).

Yes, as much as it pains me to say, the Packers achievement was something that did not happen by accident.  The Cheese-Heads came out on top in season 2010 the old-fashion way, "They Earned It".....

PS. Make no mistake however, We still hate you Green Bay!

Thanks. Pack-Fans may not want to give us credit when we succeed, but true Bear Fans always man-up.

  • In reply to gpldan:

There are some us "TRUE" Bear Fans who have the "HEART" to give credit where credit is due. If you can't show half-the-heart like a man, then "SHUT-UP"......
