Oh man, I am Pinocchio!

Suddenly I feel like a marionette.  In my ever present search for a good spot to put my pump I have resorted to the back of my arm.  You I have very little options of fatty areas on my body so I am now trying this site out.  So far it seems to be a good spot, there is a drawback.  I feel a bit like Pinocchio, with a desire to have the strings cut.

You see with the pump in the back of my arm so is the tubing leading up from my waist.  So I am extra careful with my arm movement.  I had a great stretch last night that almost ended with a painful extraction of the needle in my arm.

I began to feel a tug and ended my stretch prematurely.  So it is a whole new conundrum, the pump seems to be working there but now I have a conspicuous patch with a tube leading to it.  If only I could turn that into some sort of super hero mythology.  Wait maybe I can, I am insulin man, I am here to provide insulin to those in need.  I am not sure about how sanitary it might be but I mean if Aquaman can be a hero why can’t i?

Anyway, I have never been able to inject into the back of my arm mostly because of lack of convenience, until recently someone told me of a cool trick by using a wall to “pinch” the arm fat up.  It is moot for me at this point because the pump is there providing me with sweet lifesaving insulin for at least 3 days.

It sounds like I am complaining in the end whatever works is for the best, I jst need to be extra careful when doing jumping jacks.
