Here's the skinny

I have a weird problem, when I tell you some of you might hate what I am going to complain about.

I am too skinny.  In fact somehow my body is still finding ways to lose weight.  Last week I was weighed by my doctor.  I weigh 169 pounds, down 8 pounds from the week before.  It is because my diet has changed drastically.  I never weighed more than 210lbs. so I have never had a weight issue but where I am now seems low.

I looked at a picture of myself and my first thought is that I am a bag of bones.  I like being skinny I suppose but I need a new wardrobe.  I am going to have to figure out ways to put on more weight without carbs.  How many carbs are in Crisco?  Maybe I can lather up all of my food in Crisco…

The weight loss is also limiting my pump injection site options.  The needle has to be injected into fat, with little fat it becomes a search mission.  I spend so much time pinching and looking for a fatty area.  I also have a smaller needle now because my current needles may be going in too deep and not being absorbed as well.

Anyway, I know people rarely complain about weight loss.  It is not a huge issue for me, but I do not really see how I can lose much more.  In the meantime, I am starting the “Diabetic Diet” fad diets are all the rage right now, well that and “50 Shades of Gray” but it is hard to make diabetes sexy, though I am doing my best.
