You know how it is when you know there is something you are supposed to do, but you’re not quite sure what that something is?
Yeah, that’s me. Often.
In the rush of the daily grind and grins I have been known to lose track of days, dates, and time. I don’t know if I’m losing my mind , (which is quite possible considering I’m a mother of a damn-near-teen and a wannabe-tween), but I hear myself asking “What day is this?!” on a disturbingly regular basis.
Now, let’s think about this for a moment… How am I supposed to get anything accomplished if I don’t know what day it is? And it’s not as if I don’t own a calendar displaying device or three.
And some tasks just stay on my ‘get’r done’ list, so completing them should be second nature, right? Of course that is not how it works.
For instance, each week, I am expected to have a blog written and ready to publish on this AY MAMA! page. Every Wednesday... it's clockwork. And there is an expectation that it, at the very least, will be somewhat engaging; meaning I need to spend time working on my posts. If I don’t, I’ll just end up rambling…
Wait.
I now remember what it is I am supposed to be/should have been doing before right now… It's Wednesday, right?
Hmmm.
Well, I hope I didn’t ramble, too much.
