Hungarian Holocaust victims' kin seek reparations

The heirs and next of kin of Hungarian Holocaust victims are seeking reparations from the Hungarian railroad company. The complaint describes plaintiffs as "Hungarian Jewish victims of the Hungarian Holocaust or their heirs or next of kin" who are suing defendant Hungarian National Railroad for, among other things, "knowingly providing the trains for delivering 437,000 Jews to their deaths in Auschwitz," and looting plaintiffs' possessions and valuables. "The defendant knew exactly what it was doing. It was using nearly all of its trains day and night to transport people one-way to Auschwitz. The trains were empty as they rattled along the tracks back to Hungary. Without the trains provided by [defendant], hundreds of thousands of Jews could not have been transported to Auschwitz,"...

The Gold Coast area is part of the 43rd ward and 18th Chicago Police Department District. Vi Daley is the alderman of the area. It's safe to say that Gold Coast Neighbors (GCN) also serve as a watchdog of the community. On the GCN website they posted notes from the recent CAPS meeting of the area. Some major points brought up include:- Consistent rolling of the stop sign at 45 E.
