Derrick Rose will be fine with time, but concerns do exist
I admit I was over-hyped after his preseason performances. I thought, wow, Derrick just may have an Adrian Peterson-like start to the season. But in the back of my mind I also kinda figured this would happen. It was tough not to have high hopes that Rose would have no drop off in production and... Read more »

Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose will never get to 100% sitting out

Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose will never get to 100% sitting out
With the recent comments from Derrick Rose about his hamstrings being on fire and feeling a pinch in his knee on defense, it makes me wonder why he is waiting to return. Anyone who has played basketball will tell you that you cannot get into basketball shape unless you PLAY basketball. Derrick says “only God”... Read more »

Chicago Bulls: 5 Reasons why Derrick Rose should sit the season out

1. This roster STINKS right now. Don't give me this talk about how Kirk Hinrich was a "solid" pick up for Chicago when he may be, perhaps, the BEST pick up for Chicago during the offseason.

Marco Bellinelli (5.2ppg, 37%FG, 15mpg) has performed exceedingly below expectations, failng to grasp the Thibodeau defensive system, he appears lost on the court. Thibs' isn't even playing second year forward Jimmy Butler, to the dismay of many. Butler (5.6ppg, 2.5rpg, 15.6mpg) is shooting the highest percentage (52%) from the field on the entire team, but continues to not be included in the Bulls' gameplan. Not mention the supposed replacement for Omer Asik; Nazr Mohammed, has played a total of 75 minutes in 11 games. Vladmir Radmanivic and 1st round pick, rookie Marquise Teague have played considerably less. Each combining for 50 minutes played total.

Is this what Derrick is supposed to be excited about returning to? If he does return, will it be enough - adding his rust and adjustment to the speed of the game - to take this team to an NBA Finals? The problem with the Bulls to begin with was that Rose has little scoring assistance in the postseason. There has been no addition to surmise that notion and give comfort that Derrick would have any more help offensively than he did in 2010-11.

Get real.
As the Chicago Bulls continue to play .500 basketball, many fans anxiously anticipate “The Return” of the Jedi… I’m sorry, the return of star point guard and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose. However, the absence of Rose, plus the Bulls struggles could be a perfect opportunity for the Bulls front office – much like Luke... Read more »

Chicago Bulls: 2013 Preview

Chicago Bulls: 2013 Preview
If I could describe the upcoming season for the Chicago Bulls in one word, that word would be: zeal zeal [zeel]  noun; fervor for a person, cause, or object; eager desire or endeavor;enthusiastic diligence; ardor. That zeal, is the elephant in the room that has not only been noticed, but analyzed, scrutinized and is currently being rehabilitated. Derrick Rose’s knee. This knee is perhaps the most talked about body part... Read more »

Chicago Bulls quietly building a team to compensate for injured Derrick Rose
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Well, what if it tears its ACL? Since that point, I have written about the inability for the... Read more »

The Chicago Bulls are not doing enough yet to improve

The Chicago Bulls are not doing enough yet to improve
It’s starting to appear as if the Bulls are looking to rebuild, not retool. Chicago finished last season with the league’s best record and the No. 1 seed in the playoffs for a second straight season, but were bounced prematurely in the first round by the Philadelphia 76’ers much aligned to both Derrick Rose and...
