Chicago Gallery Snack Report: Friday, September 10th, 2010

The West Loop was pretty dry.  Steph noticed at Tony Wight that some guests got Goose Island, others got Pabst.  (She got Pabst.)  When I went in, it was packed, and I didn't see any beer anywhere.  Up the street, at 119 Peoria, the Pernod people were set up, selling Pernod Absinthe Sours and Old Fashioneds for a $5 donation.  Linda Warren did still have her famous punch, though!

Jeriah:  Looking at the surface of these things up close, you get curious about how they were made.  Some kind of wood inlay, it seems.  They were neat-o.  Unforunately it seems we didn't get any images from Linda Warren, our last stop, which had a great show of Chuck Walker's work!
