This Friday is the annual opening of the gallery season. With 20+ openings in River North, 18+ openings in the West Loop, and 20+ openings throughout the rest of the city, it is a very busy night.
For those of you not into openings, this signals the opportunity to see a bunch of great shows in the weeks to come, during back-to-normal gallery hours. As for those of you planning on going out, I've made a set of maps of everything (I could find, as of 9/7) opening the evening of the 9th.
I've made maps of River North, the West Loop, the Loop/Near North Side, Bucktown/Wicker Park/Noble Square, and Pilsen, alongside a listing sheet of each show at each venue. You can find images of my maps in the gallery below, and download the 6 page full PDF here.
Enjoy the 9th! And check back here for a listing of openings happening this Saturday and Sunday.
