Jeriah is an artist, educator, writer, and snack enthusiast.  You can see his work at www.jeriahhildwine.com, and read his columns at Art Talk Chicago and Chicago Art Magazine.  Jeriah lives and works in Chicago, with his wife Stephanie Burke.

Stephanie Burke was born in Nevada City, CA in 1984. She received her BA in Studio Art and Anthropology from Humboldt State University in 2007, and her MFA in Photography from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009. Currently she lives in Chicago with her husband Jeriah, makes work, teaches, writes for Bad at Sports, is Editor-in-Chief of Art Talk Chicago, works as Managing Editor and Director of Operations at Chicago Art Magazine, as well as maintaining her own blog, The Gallery Crawl and So Much More. When not making, teaching, looking at, or writing about art, she enjoys running around in the woods, drinking beer by bonfires, crazy quilting and target shooting.

Daisy Cutter, by Half Acre. Apparently this beer was used during the Vietnam War to blast holes in the jungle canopy to clear landing zones for helicopters.
Snacks at Fill In The Blank
Fill In The Blank typically puts out a diverse array of snackables. This time it was watermelon, grapes, and strawberries, carrots cucumbers, hummus, and pita triangles. A well-chosen assortment of snacks, perfect for a hot summer night, especially the watermelon!

In addition to a keg of beer, Fill in The Blank is one of the only galleries to put out drinking water for their guests. Good call, guys! Usually the gallery night is like Burning Man: plenty of free booze, but bring your own water. What is this, Arrakis? Fill In The Blank is onto something good here, and hopefully other galleries follow suit.

That is not my Mello Yello. I've never seen it before in my life. I swear.

I believe I had a Coca-Cola. Ever since I saw her on Art:21, I think of Louise Bourgeoise every time I drink a Coke (which isn't often). "And this is my fear I won't get my Coca Cola."
A keg of what I believe was Miller Light, at EbersMoore.

The bat hat started out as a Halloween costume (we were bats with white nose disease) but has since worked its way into my regular rotation.
