Help me Race to Wrigley to raise funds for Lurie Children's Hospital
One of my goals for 2015 is to run in 10 timed races. I am happy to say that one of those will be the charity run Race to Wrigley. On April 25th, I will join thousands of people on the streets of Wrigleyville to raise money for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s... Read more »

Stories you may have missed this week, but shouldn't have!

Once a leader in the health field, Weight Watchers is finding itself hurting in this day and age. Now, instead of paying a company to help you lose weight, people are turning towards free apps and programs available online. Is Weight Watchers still relevant today? 7% of their members didn't think so when they dropped their service last year.

Find out more about the Weight Watchers struggle here.

Is everybody pretending, or just me?

Is everybody pretending, or just me?
Is everybody pretending to be an adult, or is it just me? I am well aware that I am a 35-year-old man living in the big city of Chicago. As if that wasn’t enough to qualify me as an adult, I have a full-time job that requires me to show up most of the time,... Read more »

Why I read the Red Eye on the CTA
I am not going to lie, I get jealous of people who can read a book on the train and still function normally. I really, really do. I am not saying that I cannot read on the train, because I can. Unfortunately, it just normally doesn’t work out in my favor when I do. Twice now,... Read more »

Milwaukee: More fun than you may think!

This is the view not far from our Aloft accommodations. We were centrally located in the Western Downtown district, which made it super easy to get around the City both on foot and in the car.
My partner and I ventured up to Milwaukee last week to get away from Chicago for the holiday weekend. We picked Milwaukee not only because it was close, but because neither of us had ever been there. Considering that Milwaukee is not known as a party city in most circles, we expected a weekend of unwinding... Read more »
