Chicago Anniversary: My First Month as a Chicagoan

I cannot believe that today marks my one month Anniversary of living in the City of Chicago. It has been an awesome month full of surprises and new adventures.

First and foremost, I had to get accustomed to riding the CTA. It's fun, but it is so different than what I'm used to. You can read more about that transition here in a post I did about the differences.

Aside from learning public transit, I have discovered lots of new things. I had my first taste of David's Tea, and my partner and I found a new hangout with John's House. We also attended our very first IML Event and reconnected with Navy Pier at Cirque Shanghai: Dragon's Thunder.

That's just a few of the many wonderful things we have done in such a short amount of time. We seem to be on a constant mission to find new and fun things to do, and for that reason, I even did a post about free and frugal things to do in the City. There are so many events that completely free, that we have actually found it hard to stay home most times.

Though I made some great friends and learned a lot during my 2 years and 4 months in the 'burbs (yes, I counted), I must say that moving to Chicago has been fabulous. I even did a few comic strips for your enjoyment to show just a few things different in the City.

Consider this the follow-up to my comic strip post about moving to Chicago.
