This morning I was drawn into an article in the Wall Street Journal about a group of grown men that have have played a game of Tag for 23 years. The men go through great lengths to try to ensure that they are not "It".
Of course, they go through even greater lengths to tag other people as "It". The article mentioned that the men have hid in trunks, under cars, and even flown across country to tag each other.
The article reminded me of what I always tell people. I think that as we get older and further into adulthood, we forget how to have fun. We forget what it is like to run without worry or dance whether people are watching or not.
I think a game of Tag would be awesome. I even think it would be a great idea to get a group together and play Tag during the course of the workday in Chicago.
Imagine going about your normal day in the Loop when bam, all the sudden you are "It". I have never known anyone that was content with being "It", so you would immediately have to find time to find another player and tag them.
Who's up for a game of Chicago Loop Tag?
