This coming Sunday is the 43rd Annual Chicago Pride Parade. This will be the second time I get to attend the festival. Last year, I was such a newbie that I got stuck in congestion and could not see most of the parade. I hope above all hope that I get a good seat for this year's event.
In case you forgot, this year's parade has a brand new route. The parade kicks off at Noon from Broadway and Montrose. From there, the Parade will travel south on Broadway and Halsted. At Halsted, the parade will turn east on Belmont, south on Broadway again, then east on Diversey to Cannon Drive.
The parade will feature 200 entries and is expected to last around 2 1/2 hours.
Hope to see you there.
