So you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle; however, the numbers on the scale just are not going down as fast as you would like them to. Trust me, it is normal. Do not let it get you down.
Though some people will give up when the scale seems to betray them, it is important that you keep going. As long as you know you are doing better, just keep doing it.
It takes our bodies a while to adjust to the new lifestyle change. When you have spent the past few years eating whatever you want, then all the sudden you eat vegetables all the time, your body is in sort of a state of shock.
Keep doing what you are doing. As long as you know you are being healthy and doing the right thing, then you are on the right track.
If you are like me, you are doing better on food consumption, while also starting exercise regimens. This can slow the numbers decline on the scale as well. Though it pains me to see weight losses of only a quarter or half a pound, we have to remember that we are building muscles, which weigh more.
So, if you step on the scale this week and the number you see does not make you very happy, just remember, keep doing good. As long as you are on a good path, you will end with a good result. Do not get discouraged, as it will only make the scale numbers start going up.
