Since it got up to 59 degrees today, I had to post pictures from the blizzard of last year.
It was our first blizzard ever, and we had so much fun. We spent most of the blizzard outside taking photos. Once the heavy snow had fallen, Kyle and I built a snowman.
The next morning, with almost 23 inches of snow on the ground, we got up and shoveled out the car with a dust pan and a broom. Once the car was free, we went to Meijer's and bought shovels. With our new shovels in hand, we came back to the complex and shoveled out some neighbors.
We then went driving around to see all the snow. I remember that we kept getting out to play in the snow. Occasionally, we would take the puppies out with us, and they had a blast. Unfortunately, we kept losing them in the snow.
It will definitely be one of those memories that last a lifetime.
So, as much I am enjoying this super warm winter weather, I do remember the fun that comes along with a real Yankee winter.
