After finally realizing that the average American face is not always clean cut and shaven, Disney Corporation has finally decided to allow men to have facial hair while working at its' theme parks. This is the first major change regarding facial hair at Disney's parks since 2000 when they decided that male employees could have mustaches has long as they grew them on vacation. The mustaches were not allowed to be grown while working at the park.
Know for having very strict employment guidelines, Disney also relaxed other rules, and effective next month will start having Casual Fridays. Of course, casual days only apply to employees not seen by the public.
I found the reversal of the policy hilarious, and had to share. Just remember, next time you go to Disney World that you may see facial hair. Be warned. :)
Of course, I am sure that the American Mustache Institute is very happy!
