A day of Christmas Spirit!

If I were not already in the mood for Christmas, Sunday sure would have put me in the Christmas Spirit. I got to spend my afternoon with local Boy Scouts making cobbler for the residents of Plum Creek Supportive Living in Rolling Meadows. The Scouts made six varieties of cobbler for the residents. Once the cobblers were cooked, the scouts went inside and served their fresh cobbler topped off with ice cream.

When the residents were done eating, they enjoyed a special holiday performance by the Rolling Meadows Park District's Dance Team. The musical selection was very festive, and the residents absolutely loved it. The RMPD's Dance Team promised to be back before next Christmas for another awesome performance for the residents to enjoy.
