Greenbuild Leads "Generation Green"

At the kick-off of the industry's largest gathering of representatives from all sectors of the green building movement, we saw the events drew crowds by the thousands, from the International Forum, to the Green Jobs Summit, to the opening of the international expo.

At the Opening Plenary of Greenbuild on Wednesday, a new generation was defined: the Generation Green. Who makes up the Generation Green? This is the theme of this year's conference which aims to redefine our future within the context of sustainability.

"The leadership of the green building community is at the heart of Greenbuild," said Fedrizzi.  "This year is all about Generation Green: Redefining Our Future - and today, I see that we are collectively the most important catalysts for the change that will result in the greatest consumer, cultural and market revolution in America. Together we deliver through the built environment immediate and measurable improvements in our overall quality of life."
