Fun Fun! Fun photos at Taste of Chicago
The Taste of Chicago headline performer Fun played to a sold out crowd at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park Friday night. Included in the crowd was Mayor Rahm Emanuel. About half way into the concert, Fun shot confetti and released huge balloons that bounced high into the air over the concert going fans.
Taste of Chicago is the nation's premier outdoor food festival showcasing the diversity of Chicago's dining community. The wide array of food that is served at Taste of Chicago is complemented by music and activities for the entire family. Every summer since 1980, Chicago's Grant Park has been home to the world's largest food festival.
Unless you have tickets for the remaining schedule below, you have to have to opt for the free lawn seating. As of July 4, 2013, tickets for all but one of the Taste of Chicago concerts was officially sold out. It was reported that last year, only one concert sold out at Taste, and the city actually lost money overall for the city's largest event.
