Free Credit Building Event At WVON A Success

Chicago Credit Building Coalition "KNOW YOUR CREDIT SCORE' Event A SUCCESS!                      Over 60 Meet With Financial Coaches at WVON Legacy Room!

On Saturday, November 3rd, dozens of  homeowners, prospective homeowners, small business owners, entrepreneurs, individuals, and entire families, meet with members of the Chicago Credit Building Coalition, sponsored by Citi Community Development, at the WVON (Radio Station) Legacy Room, 1000 East 87th Street, to learn how to avoid credit repair scams, re-build credit or strengthen credit and build credit in today's new lending and credit markets at an event called "KNOW YOUR CREDIT SCORE".
Lead by Jewish Vocational Services, agencies participating in the event included: Partners In Community Building, Inc., The Resurrection Project, Mercy Housing, North Lawndale Employment Network, and the Monroe Foundation STABLE Project housing counseling partnering referral agency, Agora Community Services Corporation, and Pastor Regina A. Banks, coordinator of the Chicago Credit Building Coalition Referral Partnership for The Monroe Foundation and Citi Community Development

The media campaign that attracted participants' to this event was coordinated by the Monroe Foundation,  a community partner of Citi Community Development, in partnership with Mark Allen Chairman of the National Black Wall Street -Chicago, who also provided the excellent radio commercial voice talent for the WVON ad campaign,  and with Mr. Pierre Cooper, WVON-AM 1690 Business Manager.
