Expand Your Banking Relationship With First Midwest Bank Tonight Thursday November 8th - I just Did ! Read Why

Today I renewed an old college and activism relationship AND expanded my banking relationship by opening a savings account with First Midwest Bank in Oak Lawn, Illinois where the Branch Manager was Michelle G. Williams and if you are in the area of 95th & Halsted TODAY from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM where YOU TOO can open up a checking or savings account with First Midwest Bank as they expand their financial services more to our community. What a humbling experience for me when Ms. Williams not only recognized my name from my years with Operation PUSH as well as she remembered that we both attended the same college at WIU, I'm a Kappa and she's and AKA, and she remembered my being a student leader then.

Wow, this experience today combined with the most pleasant spirit of the Teller Supervisor Ms. Shareeda Cooley and Personal Banker David Vasquez was an example of "community" bankers and banking.   Until today, I never really counted how many times I cashed checks from friends and others and never thought about the small fee but after today, NEVER AGAIN will I have to pay a fee when I cash a First Midwest Bank for I am no longer a stranger, but a new customer who no longer will have to pay fees when I get checks drawn on First Midwest Bank.

And I opened up my savings account with only $10 !! AND If you go an open your checking or savings account today, you may even qualify for an additional $25 match by the bank !! Tell them you were referred by The Chairman of National Black Wall Street Chicago, Mark Allen !

Again if you are in the areas today, Please make plans to join them Thursday, November 8th at the Carter G. Woodson Library 9500 South Halsted for a First Midwest Bank /  Agora Outreach workshop. If you have ever considered owning a home, if you have ever wanted to speak to someone regarding what is required to start the conversation about home ownership. These workshops are for you. Refreshments will be served. The workshop will be conducted upstairs at the library!
