African American public policy advocates are publicly invited to meet with Chairman Brookins and other invited members of the Council Black Caucus WEDNESDAY JUNE 29th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at The Carter G. Woodson Library at 95th & Halsted to discuss and urge that the Caucus adopt policies that address the quality of life issuses and needs of Chicago's African American community.Diverse issues include: Transit Oriented Development, City of Chicago Community Reinvestment Ordinance, and equity in TIF (Tax Increment Financing) allocations in the African American community, including Community Benefits Agreements (CBA's).The leadership meeting is being facilitated by Mark Allen of the Black Leadership Development Institute and the Voter Restoration Project.This is a WORKING leadership meeting for Black Grassroots Public Policy leaders WITH SPECIFIC PROPOSALS RSVP TO MARK S ALLEN AT 773-392-0165 Space and participation is limited.
