Years ago, Del said he wanted to have a line of greeting cards for when you were obliged to give a card but secretly hated the person you were giving the card to. He wanted have to lovely watercolor paintings of landscapes, flowers and houses on the front, with the cliche traditional greetings inside (Happy Christmas, Happy Birthday, et al.) and on the back, in the tiniest lettering, the credit for the painting. All the paintings were to be pulled from the "gallery" of Adolph Hitler. Improviser Matt Larsen was a student of Del's at the time and he created a prototype of the card, much to Del's Delight. It was a nice painting of flowers (like this one:
