I have to admit, and it's a weird thing to confess to, that I adore the Nickelodeon show, iCarly.
I was flipping through the channels one day and caught a scene from the episode "iPie", which had an extended chase and pie fight; the slapstick was very well done and I thought it was very funny. The premise of the show is pretty simple: three kids (Carly, her best friend Sam and her next door neighbor Freddie) host a webshow called iCarly. Carly lives with her brother, Spencer (their father is onboard a sub somewhere secret. No mention of a mom) and that's about it. They get into adventures an hi-jinks. I really admire the show's sense of humor and sensibilities. Their first priority is to be funny but they don't sell out for dumb laughs. The show is has lines and ideas beyond the age of the average viewer and it's doing well. The star, Miranda Cosgrove, recently signed a contract to continue the show for a million dollars and it's well spent money; iCarly is Nickelodeon's highest rated show.
