Two great Chicago improvisers just happen to be siblings!
Craig Cackowski was one of my idols when I first joined the world of Chicago Improv. He was an amazing performer, great coach, wonderful teacher, excellent Hearts player/announcer and now he lives out in LA. His sister, Liz Cackowski, would join Chicago Improv later and both did stints at about iO Theater and at Second City. After writing for SNL for a while, Liz is now a writer and story editor for the NBC show, Community.
Well, they were both on the hit NBC show last night! Craig plays the security guard and Liz is the school counselor. Here's the scene:
If you're lucky enough to be in Los Angeles on a Thursday, you should definitely check out Brother Craig in the show Dasariski (it's the show I wish I could see the most over there.)
ps- Hulu enables you to quite easily edit a video clip as well as choose a thumbnail. Kudos Hulu... now just don't start charging.
