Amish Acres Celebrates the Harvest with a Bounty of Fall Activities

Fall Harvest Days

Experience fall down on the farm at Amish Acres in Nappanee, Ind. We'll be hosting a full slate of activities during Fall Harvest Days, Sept. 17-Oct. 31.  Our 80-acre historic farm and courtyard will be decked out with corn shocks, pumpkins and scarecrows galore! The Harvest Market will feature crisp fall apples, pumpkins, gourds, squash, bittersweet, and Indian corn.  Our shops and restaurant will offer seasonal favorites as well.  We'll also be hosting demonstrations unique to the season including old-fashion cider making at our Cider Crist Mill.  Sturdy Belgium horses will pull the farm wagon to the pumpkin patch where the kids can pick out the perfect pumpkin for their jack-o-lanterns and roast marshmallows over an open camp fire.  Over 200 scarecrows return to the farm for the annual Scarecrow Reunion and Contest.  Individuals and groups are invited to submit their very own scarecrow creation and compete for prizes.  Contest information is available at
