I'm at that age where I'm starting to really think about marriage and children. I've never been the type to think of baby names, or wedding theme ideas, but lately a lot of my cosplay friends have been getting engaged. So I've had nerdy domestic bliss on the brain recently.
These couples go to conventions and dress up in costumes for fun, so I always imagine they'd have some nerdy touches to their wedding. Full-on costumed weddings can be a bit tacky, but themed cakes get two thumbs up from me! Check out these fun geeky cakes I found.

Those are some awesome cakes! I keep saying I want a TARDIS cake for my birthday :)
Of course, if I were going to spend the money for a super geeky wedding cake, it would have the Enterprise crew along with Han Solo & Princess Leia meeting the Doctor outside the TARDIS, while Marvin the chronically depressed robot and Arthur Dent (with his towel & bathrobe) wander around near the base of the cake, and off to the side, Methos and Fitzcairn have a swordfight. There might also be a few Library Wars characters hanging around with books and guns at the ready ;) (I have way too many fandoms)
Hahaha...that sounds like it would be one HUGE cake! It would have to be so all the characters don't fall off. I saw a Dalek cake, and I forgot to add it to the gallery. I'll have to track it down :)

Nice collection! You should get the Rubicks Cube book that teaches you how to solve it. It's kind of like cheating, but we learned to solve it and could do it in seconds. Felt like geniuses. :)
I heard there was some video on YouTube that teaches you the trick to cracking the rubik's cube. I used to have one when I was a kid. I haven't attpemted to solve one in my adulthood lol.
I thought of you and this post when I came across this:

An "Ace Of Cakes" episode featured a R2D2 with a rotating head and several other action parts. Then Duff & crew got to take pics AT the LucasFilm Ranch WITH George Lucas. I'm like "Did Duff ever dream he'd be here with Mr. Star Wars when he was in culinary school?" Crazy!!!
I've actually never seen Ace of Cakes, but I saw some of the cool stuff they made in commercials.
