London or BUST: 2012 Olympics Introspective – Day 8

I am going to be keeping tonight's entry short and sweet. Honestly, I am feeling under the weather and just want to go to bed.

Today was a very busy day in the pool. There were a lot of medal awarded today. Michael Phelps won his last individual medal - a Gold - in the 100-meter butterfly. Tomorrow he will compete in his last team event and hope to win another medal under his belt...or swim shorts. Missy Franklin took home the gold for U.S. in 200-meter backstroke while break the world record. Cullen Jones won the Silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle - his bread and butter event. Katie Ledecky break the American Record in the 800-meter freestyle while winning a Gold medal for the event.

The track and field event started tonight with the shot put and 10K race. I am looking forward to more even over the weekend. It will be a nice change in pace from the swimming coverage.

That's all for tonight. Until tomorrow....
