4 Steps To Avoid The Friend Zone

We've all visited the dreaded Friend Zone. Heck, I probably have a couple time shares there. It doesn't have to be that way! You can avoid the Friend Zone in these four not-that-easy-you've-got-to-be-willing-to-strap-on-your-big-boy-balls steps. Honestly, it's scary...but, come on, you can do it.

  1. Be clear that what you are doing is "going on dates."  It's way easier to be ambiguous, but this is the time to be bold! If you don't like the person, you can just stop going on dates. It's not a contract. It just makes things way easier to mentally navigate.
  2. Get your casual contact on. You don't have to put your hand down your date's pants. I'm just saying that you should definitely gesture with your hands and touch them while you do it. Obviously, if she looks like she is going to hurl every time you graze her hand with yours, you should stop. You're already in the friend zone. Otherwise, brush on! Girls, you too! Grab his arm and grab it frequently.
  3. Flirt. Like, really flirt. Do things that make you feel butterflies.
  4. Kiss The Girl. Seriously. Find the moment and go for it. You've got to do it. If the other three steps were getting positive feedback, you've got nothing to worry about and everything to gain.

Here's why:

A couple on their first date says "You're fun!" to eachother. A couple on their second date says "This is comfortable." By the third date, they will either jump over the friendship line or fall into the friendzone.
